We're Just Too Big

Now that we got our first tooth we are just too big for everything.

This is how I used to use my high chair - just for fun: Now, after a month and a half of trying, I finally eat more than 2 spoonfulls!!! Go me!

I no longer feel the need to have to sit back in my carseat.

After 6 months of dealing with a sometimes crabby baby - I've found the reason!!!!!!!! Her first tooth broke through yesterday!! [Phew!] Glad we figured that one out!

My Baby Doll~

Emily and I are trying to get some pictures of this little lady, but the sunny days are rare around here. We had one bright gorgeous day, and I was not prepared for photos!! But here is a peek at what I have been up to lately. I am trying to get flowers done for etsy and for the Chassell Craft Show in a couple of weeks!

Just Chillin Out

It's a very rare occasion when a baby will just lean back and chill out. But she did that last night for a little bit. And when she does that, we don't really move. Such as right now, when she is playing on the floor all by herself and it's going on an hour - I don't move. If she sees me - will she start fussing? If she doesn't see me - will she start fussing?? I never really know, but I try not to make too much movement that would distract her from her playing.
She still gets really fussy at times. Like really. Paul is starting to see it now that he has been home earlier in the evenings. I let him deal with her, and he has even had to hand her back to me after a while when he starts to get frustrated. If we go to someones house, she's pretty much a peach. Everything is different and fun to look at. We have gone to his parents house on the weekends at 9:00 pm, just so she calms down!
But lately she is into putting her little hand around my neck when she gets up. It's kind of the cutest thing. Then she proceeds to pull my hair.
I am going to Emily's for a photo shoot today. She needs her 6 month picture taken, and also to get some photos for the craft show in a couple weeks. Hopefully it turns out sunny again today!! Yesterday was beautiful but I wasn't prepared! Her outfits weren't coordinated, some of the flowers weren't done, so I have to get it all together today.

What The Heck??

My little 6 month old who is unable to roll around or crawl or what have you, pulled herself standing twice yesterday in her crib! Paul put her sitting up so he could make the bed and lo and behold, she grabbed onto the bar and pulled herself up. Very dangerous as we have her crib mattress up high still. Good thing we saw her do it right away! And of course I pulled out the camera to catch her in action - and nothing. She doesn't like to show off for the camera.

The Problem With Coupons and Mice, and Also a Project That's Not a Problem

Coupons can be great and save you a ton of money. But they can also have the reverse effect. I currently have some high value coupons that expire this week, such as, $1 off any McCormick spice, herb or extract. My grocery budget for the month has long been spent. There is no more room for such things, even with a huge savings. But I don't know if I can pass them up!!! Ugh!

I am currently listening to mice run around above me. I have been listening to them since 4:00 a.m. I am scared for my life. Paul is going to the store to pick up mouse traps. I hope for the best as I can only imagine if it's a litter of mice up there, or a momma and poppa mouse setting up home for the winter with the wee ones to come. Eeww!! We never heard mice last year!! This freaks me out!!!!!!

And I am also set up for a craft show in 3 weeks!!! I am super excited right now, but I know as it gets closer I am going to be quite nervous!! I am making baby headbands with the big beautiful flowers on them - so nice to have a baby girl! It has been a lot of fun and a lot of work. So much trial and error and searching online. Hopefully it all pays off! I will post some pictures as it gets closer. I have to go to Emily's and have her help me out with that side as my apartment and camera stink. And my photography skills. You probably didn't know that.
